TheArizer Air SE is the simplest portable in the Airline: five fixed temperatures indicated by a colored LED, two buttons, and a replaceable 18650 battery. Herbs enter a borosilicate glass tube that acts as both a chamber and a mouthpiece, with an isolated air path. It's designed for those who want the taste of glass without having to learn menus or displays.

Who is theAir SE for?

  • Those who buy their first vaporizer and want a device they can use without reading the manual: turn it on, choose the color, and wait.
  • Who wants the glass path at an entry level price, with the same Air/Solo tubes as the bigger models.
  • For those who go out often: With a second charged 18650 battery in your pocket, you can continue when the first one runs out.
  • For those who occasionally use a bubblerground tubes Airconnect directly.

Less suitable if you want to choose the temperature to the degree or go below 180°C: theAir SE only has five levels between 180 and 210°C. In that case, look at theAir Max or the ArGo.

TheArizer Air SE is the entry level to the Airseries: five fixed levels, two buttons, and a replaceable 18650 cell. No display, no menus: simplicity, while still using the same glass path as the larger models.

Design and materials

TheAir SE is a 122mm tall, 28mm diameter cylinder, and weighs 103g according to Arizer (without tube). At the top is the heater port, where the glass tube fits; on the back, a sliding cover covers the battery compartment.

The controls are reduced to the essentials: a central button for turning on and heating, and up and down arrows for changing levels. Two LEDs display the battery level upon power on, the selected temperature, and the heating status. Steam passes only through the borosilicate glass tube: the air path is isolated from the electronics.

Arizer offers five colors: Reefer White (white), Blue Haze and TimeWarp Green (translucent), Purps and Cali Orange.

Heating and temperatures

The heating element is ceramic; Arizer doesn't specify whether the heat is delivered by convection or conduction. There are five fixed temperatures, each with its own color:

  • Blue: 180°C
  • White: 190°C
  • Green: 200°C
  • Orange: 205°C
  • Red: 210°C

Heating takes about a minute. After 10 minutes, the appliance turns off automatically: the timer is not adjustable. If you like, you can activate or deactivate the beep by holding down the up arrow for about 3 seconds while the appliance is on.

Recommended strategy

Start with blue or white for the first few hits, when the more volatile terpenes bring out the best in the flavor. Switch to green mid-session and finish with orange or red to extract the rest.

Camera and loading

There's no fixed chamber: the herbs go into the end of the 70mm glass tube, which holds about 0.3g according to Arizer. The tube already has a built-in glass screen. The package also includes four steel screens, but Arizer warns that they make the vapor harsher and reduce the flavor: use them only if you need them.

Grind on medium and fill loosely. TheAir SE accepts Arizer Air/Solo tubes: 70mm, 90mm, and 110mm, curved, pointed, and 14mm or 19mm ground for connecting to a bubbler.

Microdoses and preloaded tubes

For a small dose, Arizer suggests loading a small amount of material, preheating the device, inserting the tube for one or two hits, then removing it and sealing it with the silicone cap. For outings, you can pre-load multiple tubes and carry them in PVC travel tubes.

Battery and charging

The battery is a replaceable 18650: slide down the back cover and remove it. Arizer claims up to 80 minutes of use per charge; actual runtime depends on temperature and usage.

It charges with a Micro-USB: a full charge takes about 3.5 hours. After 15-20 minutes of charging, you can use it while plugged in, but it won't start if the battery is completely flat. Use only original Air SE batteries: Arizer warns that third-party batteries may cause damage not covered by the warranty. If you don't use it for more than a month, keep the battery partially charged.

How to use: step by step

  1. Check the glass parts for cracks and fully charge the battery before first use.
  2. Grind the material medium and fill the end of the tube without pressing.
  3. Turn onAir SE by holding down the center of the button for about 2 seconds.
  4. Select the level with the arrows: by pressing a button the appliance heats at the last temperature used.
  5. Insert the tube into the heater and wait about a minute, until the bottom LED stops flashing.
  6. Inhale slowly and deeply; level up as the vapor subsides.
  7. At the end of the session, turn off the device and let the tube cool before removing it.

If a new tube is difficult to fit, Arizer recommends heating the appliance to 200°C for 1-2 minutes and trying again.

Cleaning and maintenance

  • Glass tubes: After several uses, soak them in isopropyl alcohol for a couple of hours, rinse them with hot water and dry them thoroughly before using them again.
  • Hot glass: never hold it under cold water or hit it on hard surfaces.
  • Heater: No liquid inside; Arizer considers the device virtually maintenance-free.
  • Steel screens: If you use them, replace them when they become clogged.

Air SE comparison

Air SE vs Air Max

TheAir Max adjusts the temperature to a degree from 50 to 220°C, has an OLED display, a larger 26650 battery (up to 2 hours and 15 minutes), and USB-C charging, but weighs 160g. TheAir SE costs less, is lighter (103g), and uses the same Air/Solo tubes. Choose theAir SE if five levels are enough for you, theAir Max if you want fine control.

Air SE vs ArGo

TheArGo is more compact (97g), protects the tube inside the body and regulates the temperature to the degree, with about 1.5 hours of battery life. However, it uses dedicated Go tubes, not the Air/Solo ones. TheAir SE is simpler and shares replacement parts with Air Max and Solo.

Warranty and assistance

Arizer covers theAir SE with a lifetime warranty on the heating element and a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The battery and glass are excluded, as are damage caused by drops, tampering, and improper use. The warranty is non-transferable: please retain your proof of purchase and serial number, which are located on the bottom of the device. The seller's legal guarantee of conformity provided for by the Consumer Code remains valid.
