The DynaVap The B2 is the entry-level model in the DynaVap, introduced in September 2025: a battery-free, electronics-free vaporizer with a roll-free silicone stem, a 0.075g chamber, and a 10mm mouthpiece for water filters. Heat it with a butane torch or an induction heater, and the cap clicks to let you know when it's ready. It's available in two versions: with a stainless steel tip or the B2 X Stealth with a DuraDyn Stealth titanium tip.
Who is the DynaVap B2 for?
- Those trying a battery-free vaporizer for the first time: few parts, no settings, low price.
- Those who want a slightly larger chamber than the model B: 0.075 g versus 0.05 g.
- For those using a water filter: The tapered mouthpiece fits 10mm female joints without an adapter.
- For those who often place the vaporizer on the table: the anti-roll shape keeps it still while it is hot.
- Who wants titanium at an entry-level price: The X Stealth version has a titanium tip.
Less suitable if you want to halve the chamber for very small doses (the B2 tip has no adjust-a-bowl), if you want to mount capacitors from other models or if you don't want to use a torch or inductor.
The B2 is the entry into the world of VapCaps: approximately 90 millimeters long, weighing fourteen and a half grams, with no battery or electronics.
The Stealth version features a DuraDyn-coated titanium tip with a dark surface, and comes in the Stealth Tin Case.
Design and materials
The B2 has four parts:
- Captive Cap: the cap with the bimetallic disc that clicks. In the X Stealth version it has a dark PVD coating.
- B2 tip: with stainless steel chamber and CCD grid. Stainless steel in the standard version, titanium with DuraDyn Stealth finish in the X Stealth version. The geometry has been redesigned compared to the B tip.
- Stem: Made of high-temperature silicone, flexible and O-ring-free, with a non-rolling shape. It insulates from heat and fits directly onto the tip.
- Condenser: stainless steel, inside the stem, connected to the mouthpiece.
The vapor path is stainless steel from tip to mouthpiece. The B2 is 92 mm long and weighs 14.5 g (steel tip version).
What is DuraDyn Stealth?
DuraDyn is a DynaVap treatment for the titanium surface. It's not a paint or anodizing: it modifies the metal's surface layer, making it harder and more scratch-resistant than untreated titanium. DynaVap specifies that no finish makes an object completely scratch-proof. The Stealth version has a uniform dark color. The PVD cap may change color if heated for a long time.
Heating and temperatures
Heat comes from outside: butane torch or induction heater. When the cap heats up, it makes a first click; when it cools, it makes a second click. DynaVap indicates the captive cap click at approximately 240°C (±10°C): this is the temperature of the cap, not the material in the chamber.
The titanium tip on the X Stealth version heats up and cools down faster. According to DynaVap , the click time with the torch and titanium tip is about 5-8 seconds; the steel tip takes a little longer.
The click indicates the temperature, not the limit. Don't heat beyond the first click, and if the click doesn't come after about 6 seconds, stop and let it cool: an overheated cap can be damaged.
Camera and loading
The B2 tip chamber holds 0.075g, 50% more than the original B. It is fixed size: there is no adjust-a-bowl.
- Grind: medium or medium-fine.
- Filling: fill without pressing, so that the air passes through well.
- Water Filter: 10mm conical mouthpiece, no adapter required.
How to use: step by step
- Remove the cap and fill the chamber without pressing.
- Replace the cap and hold the B2 by the silicone stem.
- Heat the side of the cap with the torch to about 1 cm, rotating the B2 between your fingers.
- At the first click, remove the flame and inhale slowly.
- Wait for the second click before heating again.
- Repeat until the steam is aromatic, then empty the chamber.
- Lay the B2 on its flat side and let it cool before storing.
Cleaning and maintenance
- After use: Empty the chamber and pass a cotton swab through the cap.
- Metal parts (tip and capacitor): a few hours in isopropyl alcohol or warm soapy water, then rinse with warm water.
- Silicone stem: Detach by hand; rinse with water.
- Hood: Do not soak; clean inside with a cotton swab.
- Dishwasher safe: According to DynaVap only for the metal parts, never for the cap.
DynaVap B2 comparison
B2 vs The B
Compared to the DynaVap The B, the B2 has a 0.075g chamber instead of 0.05g, a redesigned tip, a roll-resistant stem, and, according to DynaVap, a DynaTorch torch and tin case included. The principle is the same: silicone stem, steel condenser, 10mm mouthpiece.
B2 vs M 7
The DynaVap M 7 is all stainless steel, has a 0.1g chamber that can be halved with the Adjust-a-Bowl, and accepts the M series coils. The B2 is less expensive, has a silicone stem that stays cooler to the touch and doesn't roll. If you're looking for a longer range, check out the M 7 XL.
What's in the box
B2 (stainless steel tip), according to DynaVap:
- 1 DynaVap The B2 (Captive Cap, B2 Tip with CCD, Silicone Stem, Condenser)
- 1 DynaVap Tin Case
- 1 DynaTorch single flame torch, empty
- 1 Pink Slip, cleaning sheet
B2 X Stealth, according to DynaVap:
- 1 DynaVap B2 Stealth (PVD Stealth Captive Cap, DuraDyn Stealth Titanium Tip with Steel CCD, Black Silicone Stem, Condenser)
- 1 Stealth Tin Case with Silicone Insert
- 1 DynaTorch single flame torch, empty
European packaging may vary. The torch requires butane lighter gas.
Warranty and assistance
DynaVap covers the B Series with a limited lifetime warranty on tip and capacitor defects. CCDs, O-rings, and accessories are excluded, as are secondhand purchases and customized products. Caps have a separate limited lifetime warranty: a defective cap will be replaced with a standard, Captive, or Low Temp cap, while colored caps will not be replaced. If you purchased from us, please contact our store directly for warranty claims: we'll handle the matter with DynaVap. The 24-month legal guarantee of conformity provided for by the Consumer Code remains valid.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the B2 and the B2 X Stealth?
The X Stealth version has a titanium tip with a DuraDyn Stealth finish instead of the steel tip, a dark PVD-coated cap, and a Stealth case with a silicone insert. The chamber, stem, and condenser are the same.
Can I halve the chamber?
No, the B2 tip has a fixed 0.075g chamber. For microdoses, you'll need an Adjust-a-Bowl tip, which also fits the stem of the B2.
Can I use it with an induction heater?
Yes, DynaVap lists it as compatible with the Wand; for the X Stealth version, it also lists YLL inductors.
Does it fit a water filter?
Yes, the 10mm tapered mouthpiece fits 10mm female joints without an adapter.
Is the Stealth cap discoloring?
It can happen: DynaVap warns that prolonged heating may alter the color of the PVD cap.
