The new Firefly 2 Plus is the same size as its predecessor. The only noticeable change is the redesigned LED Firefly logo , just below the bowl.

While not among the most portable, its ultra-fast heat-up time and minimal odor release make it suitable for use in more or less public places without attracting too much attention.

Battery life is another improvement over the past, with an average battery life of up to 90 minutes ; smoking dried herbs will generally last longer than smoking concentrates.

Charging takes about 45 minutes to bring the battery back to 100%, but it only takes about 25 minutes to get to 80%.

The package also includes a USB docking station , which can also be connected in the car if desired.

The Firefly 2 Plus boasts truly exceptional vapor quality, delivering a flavor that's definitely among the best in its class; this is true whether you're using it with dry herbs or trying to vape concentrates.

Compared to the old model, it offers a 33% higher steam volume , an excellent result if you consider the already excellent results of the old model.

Let's start by saying that this is a vaporizer with a dynamic convection system , which uses a 50-watt heating element, with a borosilicate glass , which transmits very little heat, and is therefore easily manipulated even when the vaporizer is at operating temperature.

The bowl has 55 small holes that transmit the heat underneath to our herbs or concentrates; we recommend not overfilling the bowl to prevent proper air circulation .

In my opinion, the “glow” effect you see around the bowl when the vaporizer is in use is very beautiful.
You can set up to 5 different temperature values ​​for herbs, and one for concentrates: the maximum temperature reachable is 215°C .
The heating speed is top-notch, in fact it only takes 5 seconds to reach the maximum temperature, while if you use lower values ​​you need to wait even less than 3 seconds .

Also worth noting is the ability to control the Firefly 2 + via an app ( Android only ), which, via Bluetooth, allows us to set the values ​​we want without touching the vaporizer.

A rather useful app, as it allows you to decide the set temperature with extreme precision, as the vaporizer does not have a display (which steals minutes from the total autonomy due to additional consumption).

Firefly 2 + | The Choice

The Firefly 2+ vaporizer is undoubtedly a great product, and as such it doesn’t come cheap: however, considering other portable vaporizers of similar quality, in my opinion it is worth every single euro.

Furthermore, the Firefly 2+ is one of the easiest portable vaporizers to maintain. Thanks to its glass bowl, you can simply use a cloth, perhaps soaked in alcohol, to quickly remove any residue.
If you're a pro vaporizer, if vapor quality is paramount to you, and if you're looking for a product built with durable materials (and also beautiful to look at), then the Firefly 2+ is for you.

Bottom line, it's probably one of the best portable vaporizers, the Firefly 2+ heats up quickly, produces great vapor (it's convection ), and has superior build quality.
